| The following prerequisites are required: | | |
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (x86 and x64)
- Windows Installer 4.5
- USB-to-Serial COM Port Driver (may require manual installation)
- For i-Drive Hardware Versions up to 1.9: FTDI COM Port Driver. More information and instructions about the FTDI Virtual COM Port Driver are available here.
- For i-Drive Hardware Versions 2.0+: Trident Research COM Port Driver.
Trident Research COM Port Driver Windows 8 Instructions:
- Download "usbdriver.zip", extract all files to a location such as "C:\temp"
- Right click on "usbdriver.inf" and select "Install".
Trident Research COM Port Driver Windows 7 Instructions:
- Download "usbdriver.zip", extract all files to a location such as "C:\temp"
- In Device Manager, locate and right click on "AT91 SAM USB Driver" and select "Update Driver"
- Select "Browse my computer for driver software".
- Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer", then click "Have Disk".
- Click "Browse" then navigate to the folder you extracted the driver files to above
- Select the "usbdriver.inf" file and click "Open", then click "OK"
- If prompted with a message about the driver not being compatible, click "Yes"
